Ellison Shieh is a storyteller, organizer, and self-taught digital designer and visual artist based in the unceded ancestral lands of the Duwamish tribe (also known as Seattle). Their works are led by cultivating curiosity, questions, vulnerability, and connections through mixed media, and uplifting the stories and voices of historically excluded communities. Their works have been shown at the Wing Luke Museum, Local Sightings Film Festival, Boston Asian American Film Festival, SCOOP Film Festival, and more. They are the former festival co-director, programming director, and artistic director of the Seattle Asian American Film Festival.
